Upper Delaware Council launches Project Review Video on Jan. 25
NARROWSBURG — The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) invites local municipal officials, community advocates, residents, and the general public to attend the virtual premiere of the Project Review Workbook 2.0 Instructional Video on January 25 via Zoom.
UDC will be joined by the National Park Service (NPS) and National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) to introduce the newly-published Project Review Workbook 2.0.
Two identical, approximately 90-minute sessions will be held. The afternoon session will begin at 3:00 PM and the evening session at 5:30 PM.
Members of local planning and zoning boards will receive 1.5 training credit hours for attending either session. UDC will send certificates following completion of the seminar.
Participants will learn about the UDC and NPS Substantial Conformance Review process, how to use the new workbook and forms, and about the Land Use and Water Guidelines which guide this process.
The program will begin with UDC and partner introductions, followed by viewing of the 45-minute film produced by Quiet Light Films, and end with an interactive Q&A session.
The following Upper Delaware municipalities are impacted by this process and those living or working in these municipalities will benefit from this seminar: Town of Hancock (NY), Town of Fremont (NY), Town of Delaware (NY), Town of Cochecton (NY), Town of Tusten (NY), Town of Highland (NY), Town of Lumberland (NY), Town of Deerpark (NY), Buckingham Township (PA), Manchester Township (PA), Damascus Township (PA), Berlin Township (PA), Lackawaxen Township (PA), Shohola Township (PA), and Westfall Township (PA).
