Pre-K Scholarship will help Milford mom
Updated: Aug 4
MILFORD - A single mother received help paying for her son’s preschool tuition with funding from Greater Pike Community Foundation. Justin Ross, age 3, received a pre-kindergarten scholarship for full tuition at Green Trees Early Learning Center in Milford.
Jessica Ross, a registered nurse, said she was “grateful and appreciative,” because she has been supporting her family solely. When she learned about the help, Ross was almost in tears. She thanks the Greater Pike Community Foundation and the donors who helped.”
Contributions from The Dime Bank and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development made the scholarships possible.
