Please Drop off Christmas Trees at the Lake Wallenpaupack Public Beach Parking Lot!

LAKE REGION - Please don’t dispose of live Christmas trees!! In anticipation of Mother Nature’s cooperation, the annual Ice Tee Golf Tournament presented by the Chamber of the Northern Poconos is set to take place on Sunday, February 9. (Weather permitting and no back up date scheduled).

The trees outline the two 9-hole golf courses on frozen Lake Wallenpaupack. Christmas trees can be dropped off at the rear of the Palmyra Township Public Beach parking lot, (at the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center) by the designated sign and will then be recycled after the event by Rex Brand Tree Experts.

New this year! The Ice Tee Golf Tourney registration will take place at the Chamber’s space below the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center, on Lake Wallenpaupack, Route 6, Hawley, PA. The cost is $20 per golfer in advance and $25 at the door. Reserve tee times between 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday and 9 am until 2 pm on Sunday, in 10-minute intervals.

Golfers are required to bring three clubs, and one MUST be a putter in accordance with the rules. Colored golf balls will be provided at registration; course assignments and score cards on the ice.
