Film Submissions are open

MILFORD - Last year, the Black Bear Film Festival designed a drive-in festival to keep everyone safe while continuing our tradition of bringing great film experiences to our community. The 2020 festival's salon was virtual. It was well-attended and we brought you 21 noteworthy short films. This year we are planning our 22nd annual festival, and we aren't sure just yet if it will have to be another drive-in/online event. We'll have to wait and see! Rest assured, we are putting multiple plans (just like last year!) in place and will finalize things as we get closer. Please mark your calendars for October 15-17.

Film submissions for this year's three-day event are open. If you or someone you know is interested in submitting, please use our Film Freeway link. The Black Bear Film Festival proudly accepts entries via FilmFreeway.com, the world’s best online submission platform. Our link is, https://filmfreeway.com/BlackBearFilmFestival.

Film Freeway offers free HD online screeners, unlimited video storage, digital press kits, and more.

The Black Bear Film Festival always appreciates the community’s support, but it is especially meaningful during these unprecedented times. And so, the committee thanks the community for their patience as they are working diligently behind the scenes. Please stay tuned for more information and applications regarding this year's Artful Bears. The Bears are a beloved Milford tradition and we are so pleased to be bringing them back again this year.
